Okay so get this - Jeffery Dean Morgan himself became a believer of the supernatural on set of the movie The Possession (2012). Cast and crew reported exploding lights while filming, and strange unexplained gusts of cold air. But the strangest event was at the end of filming, when the entire facility housing all of the props including the Dybbuk Box (a key part of the film) went up in flames. The investigation into the fire was inconclusive, but arson and an electrical issue were apparently ruled out.
Of course, this doesn't hold a candle to the cursed set of The Exorcist. The set of the MacNeil home, which was all ready to go for filming, burned down unexpectedly. The only room that survived was the room that belonged to Regan — the possessed girl. Nine people died during production, others experienced back injuries, lost a toe, and another lost a thumb. And the craziest part is that an extra (Paul Bateson) in the film was later convicted for the murder of a reporter. [One of my sources]
