Today's theme: my favorite non-canon ship, Jace/Simon. Their whole relationship has been fraught with tension from the beginning, and then Simon died and became a vampire and things just jumped to a whole new intense level. After reading the books, it seemed to me that Simon is a masculine version of Clary in a lot of ways, and maybe that's why Simon is so intriguing to Jace. The show doesn't paint Clary and Simon as similar as they are in the books, but I still like how the show explores Jace's confusion over and jealousy of Simon and Clary's relationship. Jace has a hard time coming to grips with how he feels about Simon, even as he grew to like and respect him. They switch from being teasing to protective to fighting to angsty throughout the show and that really highlights the depth of their relationship.
Also, "I would have killed you" \\ "I would have let you" may be the most iconic piece of dialogue ever.

I love this in depth look into the vampire bite and its addictive properties. It's basically a super tender, super hot getting together fic with a wonderful exploration of Jace and his road to self-discovery. This series totally fits my headcanon for how Jace and Simon would work.
My current favorite fanvideo (it's short but so well done):
