Maria DeLuca: Not Just a Sidekick

I made a post about Maria DeLuca for halfamoon Day 7 here and in honor of the marchmetamatterschallenge I updated it a bit to repost here and on Tumblr.

Maria is a great support character for a lot of reasons - she's the ultimate bestie to Liz and Alex and Rosa, and even Michael in certain ways. The best thing about her imo is that she evolves into a main character with her own independent story line by season three.
