Oh man, this one was heavy and full of revelations!

Was Will "visiting" Whispers or the other way around? Does it matter? Because if Will was the one visiting, I thought his whole cluster could be in the room with him. I couldn't really see the first text Nomi sent to Croome. But the cluster is getting to meet Jonas?? That leads me to believe someone in BPO is on their side. I love the way the group was gathered around Will, waiting for updates. And then when they all got to go outside into the sun! Such a pretty scene, I'll have to find some caps of it.

But THEN. Holy shit the hanging scene after Sun was attacked and overpowered. I literally started crying. The palpable shared experience between 8 different people is so unique to this show and they convey it so well.

I loved Wolfgang and Will planning a good escape plan. Two sides of a coin there. I'm so intrigued by their gruff hyper masculine teamwork and how they've both become de-facto leaders in a way; although Nomi certainly calls the shots too. It's weird that a lot of characters keep calling Will a 'good cop.' He's not a cop anymore, he's an international fugitive! He's much more of an anarchist like Wolfgang than he was at the beginning of the show.

But wait, why isn't Will going through drug withdrawal?? I'd assume the rest of the cluster would also be feeling those drug effects. Maybe Kala came up with something to help counter-act that?

Angelica gave birth to a previous cluster?!!! Anyone can give birth to a cluster? M-PREG? HELL YEAH I LOVE that it's not gender specific. I'm totally going to have to search the mpreg tag when I'm done watching the show.

Wait so Lito hooked up with someone from Angelica's first cluster without knowing why they shared a connection? That's intriguing, because this would have happened before Lito knew he had his own cluster, right? So he had no point of reference, it would have just seemed so magical. It didn't seem to help him later on, because he was really freaking out when his cluster started to pop into his head back in s1.

Ohhh so Croome is the one on their side. Damn we got mpreg and a 9/11 conspiracy theory in the same ep?! Incredible. The concept that clusters are bad for sovereignty is SO interesting, because of course clusters would not be made up of just people from one country. Wouldn't the sensates just create their own country, or their own home? Oh but then their population would keep growing until there are far more sensates than not and then there would be no need for borders? I guess I buy that.

Wait so why is whispers/Milton working so hard for the shitty faction of BPO? I'm still confused about him as a character, although he's definitely creepy. Gotta hand it to him, he had style for killing Croome with a paintbrush.

I'm intrigued by the PSI blockers - Croome gave them to Will so Will can avoid Whispers? I hope we get the tropey goodness of Will (or someone in the cluster) missing having the other 7 in their head. Maybe someone has to take one to avoid detection and then they realize they hate it.

Ooooh I'm so excited for you! This episode was INTENSE.

Was Will "visiting" Whispers or the other way around? Does it matter? Because if Will was the one visiting, I thought his whole cluster could be in the room with him.
Will was visiting so technically they could've all been there. This show isn't always super consistent with things, and there's artistic license (plus the room wasn't all that big for that many people) but I guess it could be the case of Will keeping them at arm's length from Whispers as a precaution just out of habit. Plus the scene of them all hanging around with their beverages was super cute.

But THEN. Holy shit the hanging scene after Sun was attacked and overpowered. I literally started crying. The palpable shared experience between 8 different people is so unique to this show and they convey it so well.
Such a terrifying scene, and so well done. When Jela starts crying over Capheus I always lose it.

I loved Wolfgang and Will planning a good escape plan. Two sides of a coin there. I'm so intrigued by their gruff hyper masculine teamwork and how they've both become de-facto leaders in a way; although Nomi certainly calls the shots too.
Their dynamic is really interesting. It seems like Will brings that out in Wolfgang, because despite Felix hyping him up as the hero etc he didn't seem especially into being in that role. Like he'd defend people etc but he didn't go out of his way to lead per se and would prefer being left alone.

It's weird that a lot of characters keep calling Will a 'good cop.' He's not a cop anymore
A lot of that comes from Will directly. He still considers and refers to himself as a cop. It's one of the things I struggle with about him as a character because the copaganda in the show rubs me the wrong way. It makes sense he equates hero=cop because of his dad, even after seeing the dynamics of their actual mentality, like all the other officers being mad at him for saving that kid's life because he's in a gang. There's an interesting scene in a later episode where we get more backstory about him so I'll be curious to hear your thoughts.

But wait, why isn't Will going through drug withdrawal?? I'd assume the rest of the cluster would also be feeling those drug effects. Maybe Kala came up with something to help counter-act that?
I believe that was meant to be the case. That she's giving him something to prevent him from getting too too addicted, as much as that's even possible. But he is absolutely feeling some effects and just managing, and the cluster likely would be as well.

I'm totally going to have to search the mpreg tag when I'm done watching the show.
I cackled LOL

Yes this is sooo interesting. We know that Riley and Will both had sensate connections pre-sensate birth (Yrsa and Sara Patrell) but since they hadn't been reborn yet does that just feel like hey I feel connected to this person? In the case of Will and Riley they were children so they may not have even really felt it. And Sara is obviously a completely different situation than Yrsa since she was so young. But what did Raul see in Lito and vice versa? Very fun to speculate.

Damn we got mpreg and a 9/11 conspiracy theory in the same ep?! Incredible.
LOLOL

Can't wait for your next recap.

Really good point about Will bringing that out in him - might feel like a bit of a competition for him for some reason. Or to make sure Wolfgang is useful to the cluster?
Yeah, I do think there's a natural competitiveness between the two of them. And they're both the protector type, but Wolfgang keeps to himself more whereas Will is involved with EVERYONE in the cluster.

Will's connection to Sarah makes it seem like there must be some reason sensates can detect each other even before they join a cluster, maybe something about them makes them more likely to become sensates.
Right. There is more info on her to come.
