impala_chickYay, fandom5k is one of my favorite exchanges and I look forward to reading your fic! I would like any rating, gen all the way to explicit or even PWP. If you want to write 5k of smut, I'm seriously okay with that :) I like plotty stories or stories focused on character exploration equally. I do prefer a little resolved sexual tension as opposed to unresolved pining, but I'm on board with slow burn fic too (maybe with some indication that the feelings aren't totally one-sided?). I've listed some prompts below in case that helps you decide what to write.
General things I like:
+More experienced character teaching less experienced character something, and being surprised or impressed that the less experienced character is actually totally capable
+Character being snarky/witty or showing up the other character, who acts annoyed but is impressed
+Getting dressed up for some kind of event or party
+Snowed in/Trapped together
+Planning a heist/mission as equals even though they are in different positions of power/authority
+Road trips
+Witches/spells/supernatural things made them do it
+Body swap where the characters have to navigate a "day in the life" and realize there's a lot they didn't know about the other person's duties/job/position
+Enemies to lovers (or an antagonistic relationship that changes over time)
+Happy endings or ambiguous endings
+Angst/dark characters/horror with some kind of partial resolution
+Getting together or friends with benefits, but I also like established relationship
+Ghosts/Hauntings
+Canon-based fic with minor changes, Canon divergence or What if? fics, Post-canon fics
+Alternate Universes: Dystopia/Apocalypse, In Space!!, WWII, Assassins/Spies, Pacific Rim, Royalty AU with characters being from rival kingdoms or from different social classes
Merlin, Arthur/Merlin
I love when Arthur finds out about Merlin's magic accidentally. I also like the AU where Arthur knew the whole time but thought it best not to mention it (until he has to). I love when Merlin's magic is explored more, and I also love when Merlin's magic is drawn to Arthur and maybe envelopes itself around them both. If you want to imagine a different first meeting between Arthur and Merlin, still set in the show's canon, that would be fun too. I do like AUs where Merlin is secretly a prince from another Kingdom, or maybe Uther lets Merlin train as a knight. I'm a big fan of the dragons, so any kind of AU where Merlin saves Aithusa, or calls other Dragons to him in service of Camelot, would be fun. Sidenote, I think Merlin's Dragonlord voice is super sexy and maybe Arthur does too? :P Also any chance to have Merlin learn how to be competent with a sword or crossbow would be aces. Maybe the other knights train him in secret, and then he gets to impress Arthur with his new skills? Another sidenote, Merlin being turned on by Arthur's skill or Arthur in his armor/crown is great.
I enjoy reading about Merlin and Gwen's friendship, and Arthur and Morgana's early friendship, if you wanted to include them. Or the Knights! I love adventures that include some or all of the Knights. I like the tropes about them protecting Merlin, and an AU with Lancelot alive would be fun.
Teen Wolf, Allison/Stiles, Allison/Isaac, Allison/Scott/Stiles, Scott/Stiles
If you want to go canon divergence and make it so Allison never dies, I'm fine with that. I'm also onboard with any kind of resurrection/reincarnation fic, or if you want to have Stiles or Isaac or Scott bring her back from the dead with some kind of spell, or make a deal with a demon/witch, etc. that would be interesting.
I would be excited to read about any of the scenarios I listed above in my general section. You can set your story in any time period or in space, but I'd prefer that if you write Isaac or Scott, that they remain werewolves or at least have some kind of special power that makes them want to keep it a secret. Allison as a hunter or a mercenary is great. Any kind of transformation she goes through to realize her true potential as the leader of a group would be great. I love when Allison leads a group of hunters/soldiers/etc and clashes with Isaac or Scott or Stiles and has to readjust her strategy.
For Scott/Stiles, I love when they are best friends but with some serious tension just bubbling below the surface. Maybe the tension erupts when they have a difference of opinion during a mission/rescue/adventure? Or when Stiles tries to protect Scott from something?
Broadchurch, Alec/Ellie
These two as reluctant but totally awesome partners in just about any setting would really work for me. I enjoy their banter, and I enjoy how they play off each other to solve problems/mysteries. I like the format of the show, and how it's not afraid to delve into dark topics and humanize the people involved, so if you want to write something on the dark side with some serious crimes, I'm on board. Maybe they are investigators during some historical event? Or someone comes to them and asks for help with an off the books investigation? Or maybe they start teaching the next generation of investigators together and hijinks ensue? Or you can re-imagine different outcomes from the existing cases that have been on the show. I'd also be interested in reading about them going on vacation together, and/or dealing with the emotional fall out from a difficult case.
TURN, Ben/Caleb
Ben and Caleb on a side adventure would be amazing. Maybe Ben has to leave to rescue Caleb or vice versa? I love anything to do with the spy ring, or horse back riding, or hiding from the British in plain sight. Maybe they go undercover together as a noble and his servant? I'd also like to see what they do in their down time (if they can get any down time). I'd love to see them go from friends to lovers in an almost natural way, where they wind up being surprised by their feelings. I'm also open to either one of them pining a bunch, especially since they've known each other for so long. I also like when Ben can give almost as good as he gets, even if he's inexperienced in the flirting or sex department in comparison to Caleb. Caleb having some angst about their age difference would be interesting, maybe especially because Caleb knew Ben's family/brother. I also would love some exploration of the fact that Ben has power over Caleb because he runs the spy ring (and outranks him), but Caleb is older.
As for genre shifting AUs, if you want to put these boys in space leading some kind of spy ring with Caleb as the crazy mercenary or pilot and Ben as a smart spy ring leader, I'm here for that. Or you could have them be spies during a different war (maybe WWII? or the cold war?) who try to smuggle information out of a foreign country.

For the male supervillian who was pardoned/superhero who is mad, I'd love to read about how the supervillian has "redeemed" himself in the eyes of the public but the superhero doesn't trust him. Or maybe the supervillian saved the superhero and gets pardoned for that, but the superhero doesn't understand why the supervillian would save him?
