Sunshine Challenge Wishlist

I'd love to find some new journals to follow and/or community recommendations. If you ever post fandom squee, I'd love to read! My fandoms at the moment are Marvel Cinematic Universe, Merlin, Band of Brothers, Generation Kill, You're the Worst, Teen Wolf, iZombie, Shadowhunters, Smallville, and Supernatural. Any community reccs related to the above fandoms would be welcomed.

I love fanvideos. I would love any fanvideo community recommendations, or actual fanvid reccs. My fandoms are above, and I love crack/humor videos (especially the kind with vines or with pop-up words), and also ship fanvids and fanvids featuring polyamory. My favorite ships are Stony, Winterfalcon, Winterwidow, Clintasha, Jace/Simon, Jace/Clary, Liam/Theo, and basically any Merlin ships.

I also love fanmixes! Of the serious, romantic, or even crack varieties. Feel free to recc me some, especially if they feature any of my ships.

Wallpapers or icons of any 2019 Jonas Brothers photos (esp. Joe Jonas) would make my day. I've been on the hunt but I can't seem to find any.

Art, fanmixes, or podfic from any of my existing fanfic would make me incredibly happy :) Comments for any of my fanworks would also make my day!

I was showing both of the Supernatural parodies to a friend and when we were done YouTube then suggested the Stranger Things one and I wasn't paying attention during the opening credits and it took me a moment to realize that was Richard Speight playing Dustin. And just today I was showing a different friend that video and so this time I was paying attention and noticed Kim Rhodes in the credits! She did such a good job blending into Joyce that I hadn't even recognized her the first time.

It's so fun to see the SPN cast out doing cool stuff. Now I want to watch the Stranger Things one just for them! I didn't know they were involved. I only saw Stranger Things s1 but I think I've seen enough online to get the jokes.

It's a parody of season 1, so that's perfect.

I kind of love the idea that everyone got along so well doing the SPN parody that they were happy to be hired on for the other one. (Osric Chau is also in their Sherlock parody as Moriarty.)

Kim Rhodes did such a good job as Joyce that the first time I watched it, all I thought was, "Whoever they hired to play Joyce is really nailing it" without even recognizing who it was. :-)

Yeah, it's so hard to find active communities these days. It seems like most discussion happens on tumblr even though it's hard to actually interact with people over there.

It's more difficult and you never know what wasp nest of bullfuckery you're going to step into if you try to befriend people.

Oh noes! It makes me sad that there is so much drama in BOB fandom lately. I didn't even sign up for the holiday exchange because I didn't know how it was going to go.
