impala_chickHappy Yuletide! I'm so excited to gush about our tiny fandom together :D Feel free to mix and match things from the general likes list. I tried to give specific fandom prompts to be helpful, but I am not expecting you to fill one of those prompts! I read and enjoy all ratings of fic.
Things I like:
•Angst! Darker themes, and characters that face their metaphorical, or literal, demons or maybe don't always make the "right" choices, and then have to deal with those consequences.
•Characters being surprised or annoyed at themselves for catching feelings for another character(s), and then pining for a bit. Bonus points if the characters are already in a friends with benefits situation.
•Humor or Characters who try to stay upbeat even when things aren't going great. I also like crack treated seriously scenarios. Outlandish plots are okay when the characters are actually trying to navigate them.
•Battle Couples/Working together during a mission/Badass women and the people who love & respect them.
•Bachelor/ette parties, or the OTP going to the wedding of another couple, or weddings/dates/proposals getting interrupted. Or characters meeting at a wedding? I just like wedding settings. Bonus points for found family being incorporated into the wedding or event.
•Getting dressed up for some kind of event or party, or characters "cleaning up well" when they don't normally get fancy. I love this scenario when it comes to undercover missions!
•Snowed in/Trapped together, or long road trips. The OTP could be trapped or on a road trip with other character(s) - how does that affect their dynamic?
•Enemies to lovers (or an antagonistic relationship that changes over time).
•Discovering or communicating with ghosts or demons & exploring haunted houses/places. Making a demon deal or a deal with a witch, or using some kind of dark magic and getting more than you bargained for. I also like when the main character(s) is turned into a demon/ghost/supernatural thing, temporarily or permanently. I'm on board with a dark story line or horror vibes. You could also borrow from SPN canon.
•Heist or case fic, like Ocean's style, or where some character(s) go on a mission to save other character(s).
•Body swap where the character(s) have to navigate a "day in the life" and realize there's a lot they didn't know about the other persons' duties/job/position.
Alternate Universes I like: "what if"/fork in the road canon divergence, alternate first meeting, Dystopia/Apocalypse, In Space!, Professional Sports, magical realism, or Pacific Rim.
Things I like in art:
-Close up details, like hands or hair blowing in the wind
-Wide open landscapes, with the subjects being sort of small
-AU drawings, like alternative costume designs or alternative professions
-Ink pen & b/w drawings
Smut Likes:
+Banter as foreplay.
+Experienced character teaching inexperienced character about sex, or characters working on improving for their partner (aka the sex doesn't have to be amazing the first time)
+A character dealing with shame regarding sexual/kink desires but the other character eventually finding out how they feel and supporting them.
+Character development through sex.
+Dirty talk and/or Verbal humiliation, even if the characters are just experimenting with it. It doesn't have to be super degrading, but use of the word 'slut' for example would be good with me.
+Rough Sex, manhandling.
+Dubcon, esp. aliens/magic/bad guys made them do it, ritual sex, fuck or die. I also like dealing with the awkward aftermath and communicating during or after.
+Object penetration, anal, & females pegging male characters.

+Breath play, with hands or other things like corsets. I like this with dom/sub play.

Merrifield/Singer
I love Baseball RPF! And I totally ship it, if you want to write that. I would love more discourse about the Astros 2018 cheating scandal. I love pre-MLB stuff when the players happen to meet in the minor leagues. I love when they have to figure out whether or not they want to "come out" and what that might mean for the league or for their own families.
Teen Wolf RPF
Tyler Posey/Dylan O'Brien
-I would love to get a glimpse into the pair of them on set during Teen Wolf. Maybe they're spending down time together, learning to play guitar, pretending to be in a band, teaching each other how to kiss/practicing kissing for a big scene? Etc.
-I also love RPF that digs into character bleed a little bit. Does Tyler think Dylan is anything like Stiles or vice versa? Or is it hard for them to shake off their characters when they hang out?
-I'd love fic where Dylan goes to Tyler's show and maybe visits backstage or encourages him.
-I'd also love fic there Tyler visits Dylan on the set of one of his new films. How does he feel about Dylan picking up more gigs?
-Anything about the new Teen Wolf movie! Are they excited? Nervous? Maybe they lost touch but now they reach back out to talk about the project?
The Jacobite Trilogy - DK Broster
Keith/Ewen
I'm still reading the first book, so I'd love anything set early in the canon. I'm okay with other characters being included! I love the mythology and history in the book so far, even though I know very little about this time period. I also love how conflicted Keith is about everything - he knows Ewen is his enemy, but he keeps checking him out in his kilt and talking about how chivalrous and strong he is. Give me more of that internal conflict. Bonus points if Keith starts to realize he's falling for Ewen and he feels bad about that. I love when they have to go on campaign together, and Keith is technically Ewen's prisoner and yet they are so courteous and careful with each other. Writing about time between them in the hut, sleeping arrangements on that journey, Keith being impressed with Ewen, or Ewen worrying about Keith would be fantastic. Maybe Keith's injury starts acting up? Maybe they learn more about the prophecy before they step off? Maybe outsider POV of Ewen's colleagues noticing how weird/flirtatious/careful Ewen is with Keith?
The English Game
Arthur/Fergus
You can watch this one-season mini series on Netflix! This vid has mild spoilers.
The enemies to friends (to lovers) is so strong with this show. I love the whole sports underdog aspect of the show, and the triumphant feeling when Fergus is able to win. I love how Arthur and Fergus have completely different stations in life, but they both learn from each other. Please continue that - maybe they decide to play a pick-up game or teach a youth camp together to inspire younger players? I'd love to see Fergus invited over and be a fish out of water at some fancy party at Arthur's house - and then Arthur realizes it and tries to make it better/easier. I'd love to see them post canon not-so-reluctantly working together. Maybe they have to thwart another effort to overturn the league's decisions or they have to go undercover to spy on someone trying to topple Arthur or Fergus's team. Or Fergus has to miss a game to help with something back home, and Arthur shows up to help too.
Grounded for Life
Brad/Lily
I love how nervous and dorky Brad is, and how Lily is reluctant to admit she likes him. I also love how they're super awkward but they eventually communicate and get past it. That karaoke scene is such a good example :D Include any other characters you want. I especially love younger sibling shenanigans or Uncle Eddie shenanigans getting in the way of a date or a big moment. I'd love a wedding fic or a post canon fic. Maybe they break up and grow apart, only to run into each other back home during a holiday break and sparks fly. Maybe they try to make long distance work and Brad has to learn to sext or something else he's not good at. Or down the road they do get engaged, and the wedding or other event gets derailed because Uncle Eddie or Sean misplace something or break something important. Or Brad and Lily are both invited to Grandpa's wedding! I'd also be interested in an outside POV of their tumultuous relationship - maybe Claudia or Sean's reflections.
