Fic I'm most proud of?
Redemption for Sins I Can't Mention!! I got to participate in the Shyan big bang, and I got to finish an RPF fic that I've been thinking about for a long time involving demon!Shane going to hell to rescue Ryan. It happens to be the longest fic I wrote last year, and it very specifically caters to my interests, lol.
It's no surprise that my Merthur canon divergent AU dominated my stats. I felt good about that fic but I'm excited that some of my other ships showed up on my top five lists too.
1. Your main fandom of the year?
Roswell New Mexico!!! I participated in three tumblr events and the discord server.
2. Your favorite film you watched this year?
A Christmas Mystery. Very wholesome and memorable.
3. Your favorite book read this year?
Lawn Boy was good, but I have to pick Flowers in the Attic.
4. Your favorite album or song to listen to this year?
The 5SOS5 album by Five Seconds of Summer! All of the songs are bops but favorites are Easy for You to Say and Me, Myself & I.
5. Your favorite TV show of the year?
I had a ton of fun watching Roswell New Mexico and following along in the Discord.
6. Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Roswell New Mexico ♥ SO many swoon-worthy characters and so many ships! But Buzzfeed's Worth It is a close second.
7. Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
Roswell New Mexico ending with Liz and Max... broken up? Or on a weird galaxy-separated break? And I wasn't a fan of the Isobel/Kyle endgame either.
8. Your fandom boyfriend of the year?
Max Evans from Roswell NM.
9. Your fandom girlfriend of the year?
Liz Ortecho from Roswell NM.
10. Your biggest squee moment of the year?
Michael and Alex getting married on Roswell NM, with all of their friends there to witness. The final talk between Max and Michael was really wonderful, too.
11. The most missed of your old fandoms?
Supernatural! I rewatched some random eps and felt nostalgic. Plus, I wrote some SPN fic this year which was not exactly planned.
12. The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
I didn't watch any of the things I listed here last year! That's sort of a bad sign for adding any new fandoms... (Last year I said Sense8, Hawkeye, and Demi Lovato's youtube series). I'm going to watch Top Gun: Maverick for sure though.
13. Your biggest fan anticipations for the coming year?
The Great season 3!! The Tarlos wedding on 9-1-1 Lone Star!! It better have all of the found family vibes that I crave. Also the new season of Worth It.
