My fandom wish list for Challenge 3:

-An updated or completely new Sam/Dean (Supernatural) fanvid to the Halsey song Drive that includes clips from the series finale. That song would be such a good vehicle for looking back at their journey.

-Also, an SPN fanvid to the song Hallucinogenics by Matt Maeson because I'm obsessed with the lyrics: 'Cause I carried on like the wayward son//And now through and through, I've come undone

-A multi-fandom anon kink prompt meme with comment fic! It could be general or themed. I think I saw one going around last year for a brief time, and I'd love to see another one. Along the same lines, I'd love for something to replace seasonofkink. I loved the bingo style, but the prompts could even be a tad more specific: maybe kinks + locations? I just hope that something else will emerge to fill that void.

-More icons from The Great (TV). That show is so beautiful, but I haven't seen many icons/fanart from it.

-Speaking of The Great, please do rec me your favorite fanfics (self-recs are fine!). I have many ships, including Peter/Catherine and moresomes, so I'm open to reading what you rec.

-Icon textures/bases with lyrics from Halsey and Hozier songs. I'm not very good at incorporating text into my icons, so I'd love to be able to use bases made by someone else.

-Lastly, more Roswell New Mexico friends on Dreamwidth! Even though the show ended, there is a fun community on Discord. I'd love to transfer some of that energy to DW.

I have such embedded memories of that "Drive" vid someone made in season one or two of SPN. I don't know how many times I watched that vid, but it was a lot, and I can't hear it without thinking of that deep early days of fandom love.

I thought I'd seen some icons for The Great go by on the main icon community. I'll see if I can hunt them up. ETA: Ooooof, that is on thin ground. You've probably seen these, but in case you haven't: a couple each here & here, a whole post here. Pretty much just Catherine.

I was able to find this updated vid by The freak boy with voiceovers from 15x20. But there can never be too many, I say!

I love all your wishes and I hope you get them fulfilled and share the spoils because I'd like to see all of those too! I love fanvids! Even for shows I'm only slightly aware of. Sometimes it's the fanvid that intrigues me enough to watch. I don't know if I'd have watched Ted Lasso without all the vids I saw. 😍😍

And your mood board is stunning and intriguing! I want the story behind each picture, but I also want to create my own understanding of what each picture represents and probably creating an incredibly erroneous life for you ❤️❤️

GAH the Great is SO GOOD but hardly anyone talks about it. Also, season three isn't available in Canada on Prime! Apparently Lionsgate is hoarding it for when they launch their OWN streamer, which I'm sure nobody will subscribe to. I'll end up pirating it eventually I guess.

I wish Discord worked better for me as a platform!! I joined the RNM community there, but it's so fast-moving, it's hard for me to follow it or join in myself.

IDK, maybe we could try posting a couple of times on the roswellnm comm, and see if any fans are still around DW, or want to connect? I'd be happy to brainstorm with you a bit! Maybe there are some folks out there still.

There's a Roswell NM comm????? I could have sworn I searched for RNM in the DW search box before but this never came up. I recognize the mod's name from Discord. Maybe I can ask them if there would be an interest in reviving it. Discord does go way too fast and with no comment threads, there can be no comment fic!

I'd love to see maybe an ongoing rec post? And comment fic fests? Anything you'd really want to see?
