I'm messing around with this new layout by tessisamess. I was successfully able to create a new layer based on tessisamess's tutorial for converting from Insane Journal to Dreamwidth. I still don't like how the comments look (with no background color) and I don't really know how to fix that. I also still need to create an image to add in the sidebar. Not sure I'm loving it on mobile but I'll give it a shot for a bit.

It's time for a more spring/summer look. Very excited to try this insane journal layout. The maker was recommended by someone at lands of magic and helpfully has DW code instructions. Although, what IS insane journal??

Strong contenders were this more simple layout, this green one, or this pretty layout but I couldn't get the sidebar to work.
