I finished watching:
•the horror TV show Brand New Cherry Flavor [Trailer] on Netflix. Okay I loved the build-up to the second-to-last episode. There was a ton of body horror which is not normally my thing, but I couldn't look away. It was like ambition and Hollywood were physically trying to transform Lisa Nova and all of her acquaintances. The way the lead was so flippant and selfish at times really made the whole plot plausible. I did think the last episode and the ending were a bit of a cop-out/let down, though.

The Babysitter: Killer Queen on Netflix [Trailer]. I loved the Babysitter, so I had to watch the sequel. Very fun! It definitely overuses some tropes but Cole is back and even more earnest and I love that for him. The best part was the super satisfying ending, with a bunch of cool backstory. I think they upped the gore too. Overall totally worth it, very fun, but the original is still better.

Tarot. I couldn't tell if they were making fun of people who like astrology or not, but it was very predictable and basically a Final Destination rip off with only a few good jump scares. Very meh overall.

It's What's Inside on Netflix. [Trailer]. WOW INSANE!!! This is by far my favorite movie of the year (so far). Someone needs to watch this and talk to me about it! Old friendships and old flames, grasping for your younger self, being stuck in a seemingly dead end relationship - many themes explored here. I loved all the twists and the awesome ending. I think they're set up for a sequel, too.

A Haunting in Venice on Hulu. A little slow and the whodunit was a bit predictable. It was a fun watch though and the aesthetic went off. Michelle Yeoh played the best character.

TJ-MikeLogan is doing a 31 Days of Horror event. I'm late to this party but I'm making a few things for it.
