I just didn't know if you wanted to be spoiled for the season finale or not. But I can agree with you about the lack of accountability - in real life, too. I know violence to match violence isn't the answer (and can't be the answer in real life) but sometimes for me it's way more satisfying to see a bad guy get messed up rather than to see the portrayal of an arrest/court case in a show.
