impala_chickHappy Yuletide ♥ If you had a specific fic idea in mind when you saw what fandom we matched on, chances are I would enjoy that fic! As long as the fic avoids my DNWs, I'll be excited about it. I read gen fic all the way up to explicit fic. I put my NSFW likes at the end of this letter.
Things I like:
•Angst and characters that face their darkness or maybe don't always make the "right" choices, and then have to deal with those consequences
•Characters being surprised or annoyed at themselves for catching feelings for another
•Humor or Characters who try to stay upbeat even when things aren't going great
•Ambiguous endings or hopeful endings (everything does not have to be resolved by the end)
•Ghost/Demon/Monster/Supernatural entity creates problems or its intent is completely misinterpreted (either in a good or bad way)
•Badass women and the men who love & respect them
•Battle couples!
•Weddings, bachelor/ette parties, or the OTP going to the wedding of another couple
•Holiday parties or cultural celebrations - I celebrate secular Christmas, but I'm open to any other type of celebration, too.
•Outsider POV of another character or ship, especially when the ship is trying to keep their relationship a secret or when the character is in a leadership role
•Found family
•Getting dressed up for some kind of event or party
•Snowed in/Trapped together
•Road trips
•Rites of Passage/Coming of Age
•Enemies to lovers (or an antagonistic relationship that changes over time)

I don't really enjoy mundane AUs like coffee shop or library scenarios, but other AUs are super fun. Alternate Universes I read a lot are: canon divergent or "what if" re-imaginings of canon events, Dystopia/Apocalypse, In Space!, Sports AU, WWII, Assassins/Spies, Pacific Rim, Paranormal AU, or Royalty AU (modern royalty or medieval royalty is great with me).

I loved the gritty world created in this film, so I'd like to see more of that. I would love to see a glimpse at their lives post-canon, maybe with Johnny exploring more of his sexuality or growing even more emotionally? I really adore the casual intimacy that Gheorghe is so good at, so any curtian fic would be lovely. I'd also really like a holiday fic, with the two of them sharing holiday traditions or learning more about each other's families. I love the idea of Johnny really making an effort for Gheorghe, like cooking for him or doing something for him. I'm also not opposed to magical realism for this fandom - for some reason, it would be so fun to see Johnny or Gheorghe actually be a fae or a wizard and get to reveal their secret, or see one of them find out that they're a God, etc. I also would enjoy some backstory, so I'm okay if you would just like to choose one of these characters and write a fic about their life before canon. Maybe a sexuality exploration/sexuality realization coming of age story!

I am onboard with any or all of the nominated characters! I just read this article this year, and I was blown away by all of the feels. The most charming part was seeing the space probes actually communicate/interact with the humans on Earth. I'd love to learn about more epic football moments, or learn more about the other games being played. I also would get a kick out of Juice explaining more about the world to Nine and Ten, or anyone else who will listen :)
Medici: Lucrezia/Lorenzo or Lucrezia & Lorenzo

Lucrezia Donati was my favorite character for a while there, so I'd love any content about her. How did she herself become so educated and well-read? Give me the backstory of how her and Lorenzo met and got together! Or I'd love to see more of her acting as Lorenzo's political ally behind the scenes, because they often share the same goals and vision. I'd love an epistolary fic, where they keep up a romance or a friendship by writing to each other or leaving coded messages in interesting places. It would be great to see them saving each other without the other knowing (at least at first). These two were set up for some epic pining and fantasizing, even if they maintain their distance. I'd also like to see them rekindle their intense romance, even when they know they shouldn't. I also posted about this fandom at the Tide of History post.
Letterkenny: Wayne/Dary or Wayne & Dary
These two are comedy gold. Their scenes are always some of favorites, although I love the whole cast so include who you would like to. I adore the holiday specials, so I'd love fic about holiday traditions. Maybe Dary helps Wayne and Katy get the place set up for a party? Or Wayne surprises Dary with something super soft for his birthday? I also think this fandom is really due for a snowed in fic! What kind of shenanigans would they get into trapped in the shed or the barn? Or even Modeans? I should add that I would be totally onboard with some angst if you want to push these two characters a bit out of their comfort zone. I'd like to see them being generally supportive of each other even during a rough time. Dary's family seems like a serious source of angst, so I'd be curious to read your take on that.
I also ship them, so it would be cute to see them out on an awkward date or exploring something (sexual or otherwise) for the first time together. I want to know how Katy/Squirrelly Dan/the rest of the town would react if they got together!
Knives Out: Ransom Drysdale
Talk about a villain I love to hate. I am super curious to know more about Ransom's relationship with his grandfather and the rest of his family - how did he become the person he was in the film? Also, why did he have a murderous plot at the ready as soon as he found out about the will? It would be very interesting to see Marta visit him in prison. Now that she knows who he really is, what does she think about him? Does even more tension bubble between them? A story that takes place during the court case would be great. Who would testify and what would they say about him? Does he get a light sentence because people believe he can reform himself? Maybe he does work hard to change, or maybe he just bides his time. What is he like after prison? Also, if you want to ship Ransom with someone, feel free! I'm curious to read any and all iterations of Ransom Drysdale and his fancy sweaters.
The Expanse: Camina/Naomi or Naomi & Camina
The tension and the pining and the slow burn of it all... I love their fighting spirit, and how much they have in common. I feel like they have some kind of dark past that neither of them talk about any more, but I'd sure love to read about it :P I'm okay with friendship goals too - like some kind of epic rescue of the Roci crew, or a two-person mission that Camina convinces Naomi to go on with her. I also wouldn't mind an unrequited pining thing, from either side. I posted about them at femslash festivus.
