Yay I'm so excited that you have seen it/liked it! Whoa, did not realize OG Max is in Roswell New Mexico. Now when I go back for a rewatch, I hope I catch all of the Easter eggs. I remember someone writing about how a lot of the music in the remake has links to OG Roswell or something? Also the uniforms at the Crashdown crack me up (in the OG and the remake). I'm wondering now where they got the idea for Rosa from.
Oh good to know, I was thinking about checking out the books.
haha, yeah I didn't question the portrayal of Max before. Although the remake shows him as a bit of a loner during high school in that flashback episode. It seems like OG Max and RNM Alex have more in common though. Especially with the job at the UFO museum.
