OG Roswell

impala_chickI started watching OG Roswell just for kicks, and to compare to RNM. But 1x06 and 1x07 have sent me into fangirl territory. Basically there was an impromptu road trip that involved Michael stealing Maria's car. Then when Isabel and Max found out about it, they took off after them with Liz in tow. And then Kyle follows all of them and they end up at a motel. I love a good road trip trope, but this turned out to be a pretty hilarious caravan, ending in a confrontation in a random honeymoon suite. And now I'm shipping OG Maria/Michael - very similar vibes to RNM Maria/Michael in that they can't believe they're into each other.
Toby from The West Wing is in it!! And he's basically the same character which I can really appreciate :D It's pretty silly that the Feds and the local government are stalking these kids and trying to learn everything about them, but I can appreciate the way it's moving the plot along.
In OG Roswell, Max works at the UFO Museum and the UFO Museum owner is kind of like a mentor? And he's pretty shy and reserved. Plus, he's actually interested in doing research hence the job. In RNM, Alex is the one to work at the UFO emporium and be kind of a loner. Now I want to picture RNM Max working at the emporium with Alex - that would have been interesting. They could have talked about Michael :D Also OG Kyle is a total dickbag but I'm wondering when/if he's going to learn everyone's secrets.
In conclusion, both Maxs have the most soulful brown eyes and pretty eyelashes and I... have a type :P

Now I want to picture RNM Max working at the emporium with Alex - that would have been interesting. They could have talked about Michael :D Aww, teen Max and Alex bonding would be cute!
