Okay, only Yuletide could make me fall in love with a 3k fic that was written as a fake TED talk transcript of a presentation by a T-Rex from Dinotopia. This fic was very thoughtful and I was surprised by how the ending stuck with me.

A fic based on Demi's music video for Confident, with her and her sexy GF as genetically modified dinosaur hunters. There's even a hot post-rescue bathroom scene. Gah, I love the ingenuity of this fun and gritty crossover. The girls even debate the vision of Hammond, which I always appreciate.

A Genpei War RPF based on some Japanese folklore that is really detailed and well-done. I had no familiarity with these particular characters but I just had to look them up afterwards.
